John is a former State Prosecutor for Orange County and Lake County. His experience as a State Prosecutor included trying several death penalty cases and other capital crimes. He was also appointed by the Governor of the State of Florida under an executive order for special assignments as a prosecutor for cases that involved conflicts with the local State Attorney. John served as the president of the Lake County Bar Association in 2001 and is a current member of the Lake County Bar Association Board of Directors. He is a member of the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, American Association for Justice, and the Trial Lawyers Group of the Florida Bar Association.
